• Calibration

General

The PTX800A analogue outputs and Inputs are calibrated for a specific

range and type. If you have changed the range or type you must follow

the appropriate procedure.

Allow the instrument 15 minutes of powered operation (to reach a

stable temperature) before calibration.

Note: the procedures below shows calibration for the commonly

ed 4-20 mA format. If you have chosen another format, the unit will

prompt you with the high and low values you have selected.

Equipment requirements

• An accurate digital multimeter (accurate to 0.05 mV and ±0.1 μA)

• Suitable current/voltage source (accurate to 0.05 mV and ±0.1 μA)
