Normally electrical conductivity is measured at 25 °C. Since the
relationship to temperature is frequently non-linear, the CND/AR allows
you to enter four additional points for linearisation. The points are
entered as temperature (T) and the ratio (R) of the conductivity at that
temperature (C
T
) to the conductivity at reference temperature (C
25 °C
).
So that
R= C
T
/
C
25 °C
Viewing the cell temperature
Press the ì key to display the cell temperature. If the display shows
Ovr , then the RTD is not connected correctly.
Over-range display
When the input signal is outside the programmed input range the
display will show Ovr for over-range or -Ovr for under-range.
Reviewing the setup
For review mode, press the Å and ì keys simultaneously.
Press the Å and ì keys to move through the setup sequence (see
table). Greyed items in the setup table are not shown in review mode.
A 10 s timeout applies for review mode or you can press to quit.
Note: You can use review mode while the instrument is in service and
the analogue output and alarms will continue to operate correctly.
Clearing tripped alarms
You can acknowledge a tripped alarm by simply pressing the key for
that channel ï for Alarm 1 or ENT for Alarm 2).
Displaying the alarm setpoints
To check a setpoint, simply press the key for that channel ï for Alarm
1 or ENT for Alarm 2). If the alarms are disabled the display will show
