• Setup

Changing the setup

For setup mode, connect the security link and press the Å and ì

keys simultaneously. The software version will be displayed (flashing). If

you wish to continue, press within 10 s.

During setup the Å and ì keys change values and toggle options.

The key accepts changes and moves to the next item in the setup

sequence (see table).

Note: If you remove the security link during the setup sequence, any

changes you have made will be discarded.

• Alarm Operation

Loss of signal alarms

The loss of signal alarm works with offset zero signals, e.g., 4-20 mA or

1-5 V. You program reset and setpoints in the input units.

When the loss of signal occurs both alarm channels are set as for an

alarm condition. The output state will depend on the coil energisation

setting for each channel.

Alarm Inhibit Inputs

When an alarm inhibit signal is applied the alarm channel is set as if

there was no alarm condition. The output state will depend on the coil

energisation setting for that channel.

Rate of change alarms

Rate of change alarms are divided into three types: Rate of increase,

Rate of Decrease and Rate of change. A high rate of decrease will

trigger a high type alarm.
